About the Founder

Aksun Legal was founded by Advocate Gizem Aksun, an experienced legal practitioner who has been actively practising law since 2004.

With more than two decades of legal practice, Advocate Gizem Aksun has developed substantial experience across a broad range of legal matters, including:

  • Company and Commercial Law
  • Family Law
  • Contract Law
  • Civil Liability and Torts
  • Property Law
  • Probate and Estate Administration
  • Dispute Resolution and Litigation

She established her own legal practice in 2014, with the aim of providing professional, practical and client-focused legal services built on the principles of integrity, accessibility and personal attention.

Since its establishment, Aksun Legal has continued to operate from Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus, advising and representing both local and international clients across a wide variety of legal matters.

Over the years, Advocate Gizem Aksun has advised individuals, families, businesses, investors and overseas clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Her work ranges from legal advisory and transactional matters to complex disputes and court proceedings.

A significant part of the firm’s work involves assisting international clients who require legal advice or representation in Northern Cyprus. The firm places particular emphasis on clear communication, practical guidance and helping clients navigate unfamiliar legal procedures with confidence.

Under Advocate Gizem Aksun’s leadership, the firm has developed a practice focused on careful legal analysis, strategic thinking and the protection of each client’s individual interests.

At Aksun Legal, our approach is centred on protecting our clients’ rights and interests through clear, practical and strategically focused legal advice tailored to the circumstances of each matter.
